F5 Festival

Opening Titles

Over the past decade, we have partnered with Motionographer's F5 Festival, highlighting the best of Creativity and Motion Design. We've hand-crafted oodles of content to showcase the craft of musical sound design and have a bit of fun along the way. Below is repository of some of our favorite pieces:

2011

We teamed up with BUCK to create a play on a kids' show for the 2011 F5 Festival. Utilizing colorful puppets, vintage audio equipment and authentic musical performances, we developed a familiar sonic aesthetic while incorporating modern techniques to “surprise and delight” our creative colleagues. We were thrilled to be involved in this audio-driven piece and hope to share our happiness with you!

2015

Again we worked with BUCK to create fun, looping interstitials and show the interplay between motion and sound, music and narrative.

2009

Way back in 2009, Barcelona director, Dvein, asked us to compose the music and sound design for this stunning title sequence for F5.

Dvein has consistently blown my mind with their diverse and staggeringly awesome body of work. When they agreed to create the title sequence for F5, I actually felt bad for them. I thought, 'This is too much pressure. The expectations are too high.' But that didn’t deter them. Not one bit. Antfood deserves big props for providing the music and sound design. Like the visuals, the soundtrack is a brilliant blend of analog and digital
