The Intergalactic Critter Rap Battle
Interactive Musical Poster
We conceived and developed an interactive, musical poster that performs beats, one-shot samples and bizarre raps from the planet of Febris. Using conductive ink printing, an attached microcomputer and amplified speaker, a simple audio logic ensures endless fun, beat-synced music that is immediately reactive and always sounds tight.
Six months ago, we sent another rocket to Febris. There was a man named Hearst in it, and his assistant Gail. Whatever happened to them, we don’t know. Maybe they crashed. They went by rocket flight…
Feeling disoriented from the impact, Hearst looked around the cockpit. Gail’s lifeless stare. The strong stench of sulfur. He opened the airlock to see survey his surroundings.
A soft evening light glowed over the land from the stars and Febris’ luminous double moons. Alien flora sprawled up the blue hills. Then… movement filtered among the shadows. Slowly, myriad creatures crept from their hiding spots, examining the smoldering foreign object. Pinklesteen fired a warning shot across the bow, before Angulbutt released a swath of hot fire from above. Smokey strained to extricate himself from underneath the rocket. As more strange beasts entered the fray of this strange intergalactic cypher, in order to survive, Hearst had no choice but to jump in and pop off.
You're the softest little critter in the whole damn town.
