A Sonic Language for the Always On, Slightly Off

We worked closely with the team at IFC to find the brand’s sonic voice and develop a palette that embodies the brand’s unique voice - always on, slightly off.

The challenge was creating a balance between a curated collection of elements that can be mixed and remixed into different outputs. We generated a strategy that was unique to IFC and captured the enthusiasm, deep love, knowledge and expertise in comedy and movies. Then, we established a sonic language and organized the system into a highly functional Sonic Toolkit for IFC to use anywhere, anytime.
