Is there an algorithm for beauty? Can design be random? We teamed up with AICP to explore these questions by creating generative audiovisual title sequences for the 2018 Next Awards.

Procedural Music Score based on real-time visual playback
Working closely with the Mill, we created original pieces of music that could iterate with audio-reactive visuals in a real-time playback software designed to create procedural title sequences with endless variations that never repeat. The system performed live at the award show and was reimagined as a real-time installation at MoMA.
